TITLE(s): SUPERVISOR, PAINTING (construction) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in applying decorative and protective coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to exterior or interior surfaces, trimming, and fixtures of buildings or other structures: Assists workers in mixing and blending paint, removing old paint from surfaces, repairing and cleaning surfaces, and applying coatings to surfaces. May supervise workers covering room interiors with wallpaper or fabric and assist workers in removing old wallpaper, repairing cracks and holes in structural surfaces, measuring and cutting coverings, and applying wallpaper or fabric to interiors.
