TITLE(s): SUPERVISOR (tobacco) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in making or packing cigarettes or cigars: Inspects cigars, cigarettes, and filters to determine that length, circumference, firmness, printing of brand name, and gluing are according to specifications. Observes machine operations to detect defective operation and product. Schedules and coordinates work activities within cigar or cigarette making or packing lines and with other supervisors to maintain established production standards.
