TITLE: Passenger Service Representatives
DEFINITION: Render specialized personal services, such as assisting elderly, unaccompanied children, distinguished persons and other special passengers to facilitate movement of passengers through terminal and create goodwill.
1. Greets passengers and guests and answers questions concerning flight schedules, terminal facilities, seat selection, fares, travel itineraries, and accommodations.
2. Directs or escorts passengers to lounge, departure gates, and other terminal facilities.
3. Transports special passengers, such as unaccompanied children, injured persons, and elderly people, to boarding area, using electric cart.
4. Contacts other stations to reserve special services for arriving passengers.
5. Arranges for air and ground transportation.
6. Assembles and forwards luggage to departing aircraft.
7. Verifies passenger reservations.
8. Admits members and guests to airline lounge, and serves refreshments, such as cocktails, coffee, and snacks, using serving tray.
9. Provides first aid to ill or injured passengers and obtains medical help.
10. Removes trash and dishes from lounge area.
