TITLE: License Clerks
DEFINITION: Issue licenses or permits to qualified applicants. Obtain necessary information; record data; advise applicants on requirements; collect fees; and issue licenses. May conduct oral, written, visual, or performance testing.
TASKS:
1. Questions applicant to obtain information, such as name, address, and age, and records data on prescribed forms.
2. Issues driver, automobile, marriage, dog, or other license.
3. Evaluates information obtained to determine applicant qualification for licensure.
4. Collects prescribed fee.
