    TASKS:

    1. Receives sales slip, cash, check, voucher, or charge payments and issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customer.

    2. Operates cash register or electronic scanner.

    3. Computes and records totals of transactions.

    4. Cashes checks.

    5. Keeps periodic balance sheet of amount and number of transactions.

    6. Sells tickets and other items to customer.

    7. Sorts, counts, and wraps currency and coins.

    8. Learns prices, stocks shelves, marks prices, weighs items, issues trading stamps, and redeems food stamps and coupons.

    9. Answers questions and provides information to customers.

    10. Bags, boxes, or wraps merchandise.

    11. Compiles and maintains non-monetary reports and records.

    12. Resolves customer's complaints.
