TITLE: Directors, Religious Activities and Education
DEFINITION: Direct and coordinate activities of a denominational group to meet religious needs of students. Plan, organize, and direct church school programs designed to promote religious education among church membership. Provide counseling and guidance relative to marital, health, financial, and religious problems.
TASKS:
1. Coordinates activities with religious advisers, councils, and university officials to meet religious needs of students.
2. Counsels individuals regarding marital, health, financial, and religious problems.
3. Plans congregational activities and projects to encourage participation in religious education programs.
4. Develops, organizes, and directs study courses and religious education programs within congregation.
5. Supervises instructional staff in religious education program.

9. Solicits support, participation, and interest in religious education programs from congregation members, organizations, officials, and clergy.

11. Interprets policies of university to community religious workers.
12. Interprets religious education to public through speaking, leading discussions, and writing articles for local and national publications.
13. Analyzes revenue and program cost data to determine budget priorities.
