TITLE: Grant Coordinators
DEFINITION: Research, develop, and coordinate development of proposals for funding and funding sources to establish or maintain grant-funded programs in public or private organizations.
TASKS:
1. Prepares proposal narrative justifying budgetary expenditures for approval by organization officials.
2. Writes and submits grant proposal application to funding agency or foundation.
3. Directs and coordinates evaluation and monitoring of grant-funded programs.
4. Consults with personnel to determine goals, objectives, and budgetary requirements of organizations, such as nonprofit agencies, institutions, or school systems.
5. Researches availability of grant funds from public and private agencies to determine feasibility of developing programs to supplement budget allocations.
6. Completes reports as specified by grant.
7. Confers with representatives of funding sources to complete details of proposal.
8. Maintains files on grants.
