091 OCCUPATIONS IN SECONDARY SCHOOL EDUCATION
This group includes occupations concerned with research, administration, and teaching at the
secondary school level (intermediate grades between primary school and college). Teaching at this
level is generally specialized according to one group of related subjects, such as physics, math,
history, literature, home economics, industrial arts, or music. Occupations concerned with relieving
teachers of duties which do not require academic training, such as clerical tasks or attending to
personal needs of students, are included in Group 249.
