TITLE(s): SUPERVISOR, FITTING (any industry) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in aligning and fitting component parts to assemble fabricated metal products, applying knowledge of product design, layout, strength of materials, and properties of metal: Reads blueprint specifications to determine assembly sequence. Requisitions equipment, such as jigs, base blocks, and rigging, and assigns equipment to workers according to work performed.
