May repair wiring defects, such as loose connections and misconnected wires, using soldering iron or wire-wrapping gun. May be designated according to apparatus repaired as Crossbar-Switch Repairer (comm. equip.; elec. equip.); Relay Repairer (elec. equip.); Telephone-Switch Repairer (comm. equip.; elec. equip.).
