Inspects finished concrete building products for flaws, finish, and conformance to dimensional specifications, using blueprints and precision measuring instruments: Compares dimensions of product, such as prestressed concrete building panels, conduit, and beams, with blueprints, using micrometer, calipers, fixed gauges, and rule. Examines products for flaws, such as cracks, warped sections, bent reinforcing rods, and surface or color irregularities. Rejects products not meeting specifications and notifies originating department to repair product or take measures to minimize future irregularities.
