TITLE(s): OPERATIONS OFFICER (financial) Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel involved in performing internal operations in department or branch office of financial institution: Prepares work schedules and assigns duties to operations personnel to ensure efficient operation of department or branch. Audits accounts, records of proof, and certifications to ensure compliance of workers with established standard procedures and practices. Compiles required and special reports on operating functions of department or branch. Interviews, selects, and hires new employees. Directs employee training to improve efficiency and ensure conformance with standard procedures and practices. Verifies workers' count of incoming cash shipments. Controls supply of money on hand to meet branch's daily needs and legal requirements. Conducts staff meetings of operations personnel, or confers with subordinate personnel to discuss operational problems or explain procedural changes or practices.
